Identity and nomenclature
Supplied without the drug affinity complex. The DAC-bearing form is a different compound with a maleimide linker and a mass of 3647.2, and the figures above describe the 29-residue analogue also catalogued as modified GRF (1-29). Public structure databases label these two inconsistently — the record whose structure carries no maleimide is nonetheless indexed under a “with DAC” synonym — so the rows above were taken from the structure rather than from the name attached to it. The values on the certificate issued with the lot are the ones that describe the vial shipped.
Analysis and documentation
Each constituent is assayed on its own. Identity is confirmed by mass spectrometry and purity determined by RP-HPLC, and a certificate of analysis is issued against the lot number of the vial shipped.{PURITY}
Handling and storage
Supplied as a lyophilised powder in a sealed vial. Store at -20 degrees Celsius, desiccated and protected from light. Allow the vial to reach room temperature before opening so that condensation does not form on the contents.
